What are the best missions/campaigns?

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone, I am relatively new to FC.

I was thinking about downloading some missions and campaigns. I have found many sites that have them, but wanted to know if there are any really good ones that have that are highly regarded, or if there is someone who is known for making the best around?

I like missions that are realistic, as in missions have been well though out and built, air defenses set up, and well balanced, not just your plane against the world.

On a side note, there used to be a theater setup mission for Flanker 2.51, as in a mission that had no planes but it had the sides, air defenses and soem objects placed, so that you could build your own missions and save some time. Anyone know of something like that for FC?

Thanks in advance!

IMO you should specify which plane you want them for.

Several sites also have ratings next to the download. You can look at the ratings, or how many times it was downloaded to get an idea.

I created an A10 Campaign called When Hogs Fly which of course I like. It's about medium diffuclity.

Can you put these up somewhere else? Really don't feel like registering on another site.

Rupert1978 - CombatAce should be on your list of Lockon sites that are worth the effort of registering with. It has a lot of useful stuff.

Other "must-have" Lockon sites would be (IMHO)

Lockonfiles,

http://www.lockonfiles.com

Lockonskins,

http://www.lockonskins.co.uk

CheckSix,

Ironhand
