Dems
Hello, I was looking some vietnam huey videos and i was afraid to see that the panel left to the pilot leg was not the same has in game. their is missing panel and some butons who are not at the same place etc... I have check on huey military flight manuel where all panel are describe and they are like in videos and picture of vietnam. I think about differents possibility: multiple cockpit version but i see 3 differents vietnam huey with aproximatively same cockpit. and military flight manuel is the same as well. This is not a military cockpit of vietnam huey version. In this case someone can tell me the version of the huey in dcs? Or Maybe cockpit is wrong ? Thx for help Dems
Elor
From what I understand the DCS version is a post Vietnam variant of the UH-1H .
Eagle_Rising
So the external model is actually based off the Australian Bush Ranger I’m not sure if the cockpit is also based off of it but it looks very similar to many 80’s H model Huey’s I’ve seen. WinterH
Yes, the Huey we have is post-Vietnam War. It is probably the closest thing in DCS to the Vietnam era machines though.
