hrnet940
My Open Beta wanted to update from 2.5.2.18736.400 to the newest version as above. I get a notice that it can't update because the file DCS.exe already exists in the bin folder. I have a Paint picture with the two error messages if you wish to see them. I have also saved the log file text file also if that will help. I tried the Repair feature and it still happens. I can't play DCS until I get this fixed. Please help!! Thanks, Wayne P.S. I tried to attach the files and hope they are viewable.autoupdate_log _6July2018.txt Wayne Wilson AKA: hrnet940 Alienware Aurora R3, i7 3820 3.5GHz(4.2GHz setting) processor, EVGA Nvidia RTX 2070 8GB Graphics, 16GB Ram, 1TB SSD. Art-J
That usually happens when your antivirus program is too anal about its duties, try to disable it while repairing/updating: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/support/faq/987/ i7 9700K @ stock speed, single GTX1070, 32 gigs of RAM, TH Warthog, MFG Crosswind, Win10.
