mayo25
Then how do you maintain the aircraft still when you remove the shocks ? All the planes I have flown (Ce-152 to the A330 , actual planes ), all have a parking break to avoid any trouble. Is the F5, the only one without parking breaks ? razo+r
You have toe brakes, which you can use. Plus, it won't move if the throttle is on idle. The F-5 doesn't have a parking brake in real life either, which is the reason why ground crew places the chocks as soon as possible.

razo+r
Some fighter planes have it, some don't. Nowadays it's rather common that they have a parking brake.
mvsgas
There are other aircraft without parking brake. The F-16 for example, parking brake only works if battery switch is on. The F-117, A-10, Mig-21, Mig-29, etc. do not have parking brake neither To whom it may concern, I am an idiot, unfortunately for the world, I have a internet connection and a fondness for beer....apologies for that. Thank you for you patience. Many people don't want the truth, they want constant reassurance that whatever misconception/fallacies they believe in are true..
