illwind
I had the Kurfurst working fine in previous version DCS World, but after today's start the program asked me to upgrade to DCS 1.5.2.49392, which I did, but now when I try to fly the K-4, it won't let me. Instead I get to see it autofly itself when I select and Instant Mission and takeoff. F1 won't allow me to enter the cockpit. The Su-25 works fine. I deleted and reinstalled the K4 with the serial number from within DCS World, but same result. Any ideas/suggestions? Bill
TAC-1
Hi, Did you double checked your controls for the K-4? Might be set to the SU-25.
Bounder
If you can't enter the cockpit etc as you say then module isn't activated properly. You can double check by joining a multiplayer server that has the 109 - you'll find you can select other modules (providing you own them) but not the 109. This has been a reasonably common issue going from DCS 1 ->1.5 and there are plenty of resolved threads. I found the post quoted below to be most helpful to fix the issue for me: (original thread http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=101490) Root/Program Files/Eagle Dynamics/DCS Install Folder/Mods/Aircrafts/<module name>/bin/. Right Click on Protect.exe run as admin, choose activate, enter serial, follow on screen prompts. My PC specs: Win10 64 Pro, CPU i7-3820 4.4GHz, 16GB RAM, GPU Nvidia 1070 (8gb vram). Controls: Microsoft FFB2, Thrustmaster Warthog Throttle, MFG Crosswind Pedals, TrackIR5. I performed the reactivation technique described above, and it said I was still activated with the proper serial number, but I chose to Activate it again as administrator just in case. Unfortunately no joy. When I run DCS Multiplayer I get a black screen. Very frustrating. My joystick works and is set for Su25, TF51, and K4. I am running Windows 10. Any more ideas? DieHard
http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/support/ http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/index.php Go through the process. The people at DCS have always come through for me in about 8 separate issues since I joined in 2011. My latest issue, but not your issue stated above, they directed me to a fix within my Windows registry. They answered me in less than 24 hours with the solution. I will have to do this. Seems like a lot of trouble over an upgrade, but I'm not too surprised; I'm used to Linux. Bill
