Scarecrow84
Maybe a dumb question, but will non WW2 aircraft be able to fly in the Normandy Map? It looks great from the Spitfire video...
Medic8ed
Yes, it has been mentioned before that any module you own will be able to fly on the Normandy map. Should be fun!
Aginor
Definitely! I need big AAA guns in modern missions. The acht-acht will be sufficient. :) DCSW weapons cheat sheet speed cheat sheet
WinterH
There is no reason for them not to. It's how DCS works : gives you the sandbox with it's resources, and you populate it to your heart's content. Scarecrow84
Yeah, I was concerned the re-fueling infrastructure type items might be a problem. That's really good to hear that all aircraft will work.

Aginor
Yeah, IMO it would be silly if we couldn't use all units on all maps, regardless of type. Also using the A-10C against WWII tanks will be loads of fun. :D DCSW weapons cheat sheet speed cheat sheet

ED Team Wags Posted December 24, 2016 ED Team Share Posted December 24, 2016 Some of the most fun I've had with the pre-release map has been helo and A-10C flights over this terrain. Because of the low, rolling hills, it really makes nap of the earth flying essential. some1
To put things into perspective, a WWII strategic bomber has about the same MTOW than F-15C (about 30 tons). Except it also has much lower takeoff and landing speeds. I don't think Viggen was designed for unpaved runways. Short/provisional yes, but not grass.
