It is under your C/ users/your username/ saved games folder for the appropriate DCS installation. You will find the screenshots folder in there.

That's weird, looks like it should be right there.

I'd try to...

a) search for any files named "screenshots", limit search to folders if possible

b) create a folder named "ScreenShots" right there and see if any screenshots show up then

Also I do not believe that folder is created initially until after the first screen shot is captured. May be a conflict in your bindings keeping it from capturing the screenshot. You might try assigning something else, like maybe the default Prt Scr key, just to see if that works.

sorry for the bump...

I've found my screenshots are saved in 2 locations simultaneously,

the saved games/screenshots folder , as compressed JPG files

and under the DCS main folder itself in the BIN folder, in HUGE PNG files.

in the Graphics lua file there is no mention of the PNG files and path.... Only to the JPG's.

how can I change it if I don't the screenshots saved as PNG's or edit their path etc. ??

Thanks!!

Do you run SweetFX? IIRC SweetFX does save screenshots in the game's bin dir by default. If you don't have SweetFX, do you run any other mods?

I don't think I've ever heard about DCS saving screenshots anywhere other than Saved Games, unless one edits a config file (which I guess you'd have mentioned).

Don't know about SweetFX, 'cause I've never used it, but I use Reshade and it too saves screens in the Bin folder (ever worse, as they're bitmaps), so yes, definitely some other app does it on Ron's machine, as the DCS itself never saves screens anywhere else than in Saved Games location.

I do run SweetFX......

that is it...Thanks guys!!

You can modify where SweetFX/ReShade saves the screenshots to either in the in-game GUI or the dxgi.ini file (ScreenshotPath variable). Don't know if this will help anyone out or not, but wanted to throw it out there.

Hi

Can I change screenshot folder?

Hello,

Yes, making use of Windows "mklink /J" command. Using it, I've put my Screenshots folder on this path:
