hreich
I have finally decied to unload my wallet, and purchased gainward 2060 rxt super (replacing my amd 480 rx)..I was wondering if i can just uninstall current AMD drivers, shutdown PC, install new card, switch PC on, install new drivers, and after that play DCS World... Or am i going to have activation problems because change of GPU, or some other driver related issues? [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Pilot from Croatia
Taintid
You shouldn't have any activation problems with switching out your GPU. I've switched out several GPU's but, they've all been NVIDIA's.
BitMaster
To play it safe, I would deactivate the modules that are not on the new, user account based, license model and do the deinstall with DDU in SafeMode. DDU has a special mode for changing between vendors. It then wont reboot but shut down after a thorough deinstall of your AMD driver set. Then change the card, boot up and install nv driver and enjoy.
