ahaka
Hello, I have pedals I would like to use for a helicopter where each pedal has a separate axis, both showing up as a slider. I could not find any way to set this up in the DCS settings, so does anyone here know of any workaround on how to set up the axis for this kind of setup? JG14_Smil
DCS would have to be written for using a car simulator pedals (gas/brake). You would have to have one pedal go positive and the other negative. It would be a mess. Yaw is controlled by one axis only. Sokol1_br
People already use Racing Pedals - 2 individual axis - for rudder control (and brake pedal for... brakes): https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=1436133&postcount=7 Other option is combine both axis as virtual one first with Vjoy/URJoy. FoxDelta
i use g25 pedals to use g25 pedals: apply to rudder in dcs, y-axis and slider2 config yaxis: as slider, inverted, max movement to 50%, apply a deadzone of , i would say 5 -10, to avoid mixup when pressing both pedals config slider2: as slider, max 50%, deadzone as well as i am not near my setup i dont exactly have the name of this max value setting in my mind, but its the second from below, i guess works just fine for me, of course you have to mind releasing the opposite pedal heli with pedals makes so much a diffrent, also with the low cost racing pedals br my projects: https://www.sim-addons.com/ https://www.shapeways.com/shops/sim-addons-1 AV8B nozzle lever https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=233670 F18C fingerlifts https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=234747 F18C radar elevation https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=248080
ahaka
Many thanks for all the help, but for some reason in my DCS v2 (latest build) I cannot get this to work, even though I did everything exactly as shown above. Maybe something has changed in the DCS code along the way? In windows calibration, both of the pedals show as slider and everything correctly calibrated. Sokol1_br
Is the case that axis not detect in Controls? If is this - a common case lately - simple select then by name in drop down list.
1.JaVA_Platypus
Why have two seperate axis for rudder control when you can easily use one pedal for the rudder as well. As is the case with the Erco-415 Ercoupe. :D Happy Flying! :pilotfly:
Sokol1_br
Nahh, this pedal is for brake (both wheels). Ercoupe use... "twist rudder". ;)
