JS Posted July 13, 2012 Share Posted July 13, 2012 I hope that now that we have a "unified" DCS World, the next step will be automatic updates of the World and all installed modules when DCS World is started. Manish Whilst I agree that more frequent, smaller updates would be welcome as it's easier and uses less bandwidth, it would not be a sensible thing for the developers to do. Can you imagine the online compatibility issues if there was an update every couple of days? And having people try to keep up with that? What happens if you miss one? That's the downside to open Betas. You can be sure that once it's out of beta, updates will be small :) Virtual Horsemen - Right Wing (P-51) - 2008... You can be sure that once it's out of beta, updates will be small :) As far as I know from what I have learned here, DCS World 1.2.0, A-10C and BS2 versions 1.2.0 are now out of beta and considered released versions. Only CA and P-51 are still in beta phase... (I cant find them) Thanks guys Yes they mostly should (I'm guessing there could be something changed that could mess some up, but I haven't had or seen mention on the board of issues). Just to make you guys clear that I don't own any of the DCS titles: A-10, P51 and BS2. So my questions is without these titles I can't play multiplayer DCS World with Su-25t ? Can you then use it to download and install right from the DCS site? I'd much rather use the DCS software download. Correct. The 'uninstall the old versions' part is optional. Keeping the standalone versions has value for some people.
