it is written, there's a script ... each time there's less than three objectives left a victory/loss announcement pops up for everyone in the top right corner

now the problem is that nothing is happening after this announcement ...

 

and CTLD crashing is getting annoying...

2 hours ? may be 4 ? like we had before ?

 

 

by the way, I've played for reds for quite a while and I can say, that Nalchik's zone radius is fine. It's the same as on Senaki. It's just the SA-11, that's deployed ~10nm south of it somehow remains in the zone

Im sorry but 2 hours is just :S

It will become very anoying waiting for those restarts all the time..

Capturing and winning was allways on players.

IMO there is no need to go below 4h as it was before.

 

Before joining, if I see 45 min or less left on mission.. usually I don’t even join and just go and do something else till restart. Because sometimes you need 30 min or more just to organize cap,strike and transport to work together on one area even with 3-4 standard players who understand mission very well. Then you need time to fly to the area and do stuff.. Please reconsider.

 

And once more thank you for the time you put in K.O. for us to enoy dcs. Its nicely populated server and its a great joy to be part of these never ending campaigns again!

Campaign is reset. I had no time to change things now but maybe next round I will update mission. Please discuss what aircrafts can be replaced to get the Harrier in. There is no more space to add aircrafts so something have to go.

AJS37, SU25, MI8, Ka50, SU27, Mig29 and Mig21 for Red

AV8B F15, M2000c, F5E, UH-1, SA342, A10C for blue.

I'm afraid of the Harrier… I know we are seriously lacking of aircraft types but I'd like to wait a little bit to check the Harrier's performances as an early access module before it probably becomes one of the most tactically useful module for both sides…

 

About the campaign, I have noticed some issues :

— EWR statuses don't use the units the player has selected.

— Tkvacheli FARP spawn locations are misplaced and half of the helicopter falls into the grass breaking things.

— Crew convoys may not arrive close enough to all spawn locations, forcing the player to takeoff and get closer in order to load weapons.

 

The requests :

I feel that most of the time, most effective combat consists of placing/destroying SAMs all the time (with the exception of a couple of tanks and trucks on FARPs) Making 90% of my time flying the Ka-50. Can we add more variety of gameplay ? an addition to what has been already suggested about offensive convoys, can we add :

— AI bombers to escort.

— critical buildings to destroy.

— Some scripted command center gathering intel, process it and giving general directives and missions suggestions to players.

— Naval warfare, with aircraft carriers.

— More usefulness for objectives like bunkers, the dam, …

— Bigger rewards for using old fashioned aircraft types

 

Maybe more later… :D

All crashes of the KO campaign is identified to all be related to the “weapons.dll” bug. Luckily my dedicated server application now works perfect so the server will recover itself from the crash and be awailable again in just a couple of minutes. Let’s hope ED squashes the bug soon. :)

ED did a massive multiplayer test twice last week to find the bug... They already fixed it internally, we should be getting a fix by next update.

Will you be changing the mission while KO is down? Or there's some other reason?
