Default Detection Range of EWR too short

The detection range of the 1L13 and 55G6 early warning radar is considerably short. Mission editor range circle range rings show a maximum range of 120 km for both. In game tests tests confirm this (detection of fighter sized targets at about 100 km). Encyclopaedia (and common sense) indicate considerable higher detection range.

This seems to be a relatively simple database fix. Any chance of seeing the range of the two early warning radars adjusted?

I don't have anything "official". But here is the entry for the 1L13/P-18 on flak11.de:

http://www.flak11.de/RBS-18.htm

It mentions a Messbereich/measurment range of 360 km. For a 1m2 target at 80% output power, the following values are given:

Altitude Range
50 m 20 km
100 m 28 km
200 m 35 km
300 m 40 km
500 m 50 km
1.000 m 65 km
3.000 m 110 km
6.000 m 150 km
10.000 m 175 km
20.000 m 230 km
30.000 m 250 km

I think this is generally a trustworthy website on East German air defense matter.

Here is another website on the 1L13/P-18: http://www.radartutorial.eu/19.karte...rte049.en.html
It claims an instrumented range of 200 NM, which corresponds to the 360 km mentioned above. Just my own interpretation, but this might be the actual maximum range scale on the radar scope.
Edit: It might be possible that this site just copied flak11.de

What was the source used for the in-game encyclopedia?

In my mission the EWR 55G6 detects a MiG-23MLD at 350 km distance.

Can you share this mission? I know I have seen such ranges in past years (my Guardians of the Caucasus campaign would not have worked otherwise), but about a year or so the ranges of both EWR dropped to 120 km.
