Can run this mission single player, but not with my dedicated server !?

Recommended Posts

I've been working on a mission set in 1987 on the PG map, link below:

https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3304288/

I can happily run this on my core PC and play this mission.

Yet when I try to run it on my laptop, in "dedicated server mode", it simply won't load.

I'm feeling a bit confused.

Both my core PC and laptop have all of the maps installed, so I don't think that it's anything that's missing.

Would one of you please be kind enough to give it a try and see if it works for you.

OK, I loaded the mission on my dedicated server and found that it works fine .. this is the server Admin screen:

Here I connect to the server from my gaming rig:

These are the slots available:

And here I am, seated on my Tomcat ... by the way, on User files there is a very similar livery, but with iranian instead of US markings :)

So, the mission seems ok and the problem lies probably within your server .. do you have a separate license for the server's PG Map? I have two licenses, one on my Gaming Rig and the other on the Server .. it's the only thing I can think of that may be causing trouble.

Best regards

My thanks for the feedback, much appreciated.

It's clearly an issue with the laptop. That has my son's account on it, which has all of that maps and the WW2 assets.

Must be an issue with loading on the laptop.

Bizarrely, tried the same mission again a little while ago, and it now works fine.

Ah, the joys of computing.

:D ... has happened to me a lot over the years ... computers defy logic.
