Helios stock F/A-18C profile works, custom one does not.

I've been trying for weeks to get Helios to work, but it simply refuses, and its lack of updated guides is insanely frustrating.

Cpt. Zeen's F/A-18C update 3 profile from his website works 100%.

However, when I make my own profile, it does not work.

I've been told that it's most likely the 'install path' that is the issue, however, I can't seem to find a fix for it.

I have the Steam version of DCS OpenBeta, but when I try to direct Helios to my DCS Open Beta folder, it says "Cannot find game install".

I'm almost certain that this is because the Steam version of DCS does not say 'DCS.OpenBeta', like Helios is expecting, instead the Steam version just says 'DCSWorld'. Because when I make a fake folder called 'DCSWorld.OpenBeta', Helios accepts the folder (but still doesn't work).

I can't find the install location for the stock F/A-18C profile, but it works, so if I can find that, maybe I can put that and fix this issue?

As I said, the stock profile from Cpt. Zeen's website works, but when I add my own profile, it does not.
