Pitot
So, I have had this idea for years, but I'm no programmer. But... Since someone has (FINALLY) done that, when Bethseda made "Fallout Pip-Boy" app for smartphones which allows you to connect your smartphone via local network to your game and use in-game menu (map, inventory etc.) quickly and efficiently on your smartphone. Now, it would be pretty awesome to do the same thing with DCS: Make an app, port it to iOS, Android and WP that allows the pilot to see, for example, f10 map. Okay, some of you will say it is not needed, but if ED plans on doing something about introducing airspace control into the sim (manned controllers, towers, awacs...) then it would be a great base for developing some awesome apps from that core that would make this sim even more advanced and modern. luckyhendrix
There are already android apps that reproduce the flight instruments of some aircraft for DCS. But I would be very interested if someone added more functionality Sent from my XT1072 using Tapatalk
cichlidfan
A good, sim connected, kneeboard app would be the most useful. Btw, the Pip-Boy app is awesome. :D ASUS ROG Maximus VIII Hero, i7-6700K, Noctua NH-D14 Cooler, Crucial 32GB DDR4 2133, Samsung 950 Pro NVMe 256GB, Samsung EVO 250GB & 500GB SSD, 2TB Caviar Black, Zotac GTX 1080 AMP! I have been wanting to see a good gaming app that connects PC/mobile device for ages. Imagine having a nice app that lets you use your A10C MFDs, for example... Pitot
Sure, sure, thanks a lot - but none of that is interactive with the DCS itself. Don't ask, here's the answer: 95% of my posts are edited because I have OCD.

Gladman
I've tried the apps listed and I find they all lag. Could be me but I believe unless the tablet can be wired and seen as another monitor it'll consistently be an issue. i9 9900K @ 5.1Ghz - ASUS Maximus Hero XI - 32GB 4266 DDR4 RAM - ASUS RTX 2080Ti - 1 TB NVME - NZXT Kraken 62 Watercooling System - Thrustmaster Warthog Hotas (Virpil Base) - MFG Crosswind Pedals - Pimax 5K+ VFA-25 Fist Of The Fleet [sigpic]http://forums.eagle.ru/signaturepics/sigpic99190_2.gif[/sigpic] Virtual Carrier Strike Group 1 | Discord
Pitot
People, please, I understand (and had before I posted) that there are "some" apps out there. I am talking about functional app that connects via local network and lets you see some things that are unique for all the modules *F10 map etc, and to build up the additional per-module functionality in it. The functionality is the main thing, and interactivity along with it. I am not talking about kneeboard apps - I could make that by myself.
