Shimonu Posted January 7, 2018 Share Posted January 7, 2018 I've been able to start the engine without setting the main fuel valve to ON. As I understand it this valve supplies the engine with fuel and should be necessary for the engine to work. I'm pretty sure I've even flown entire sorties without turning it on. Art-J Posted January 7, 2018 Share Posted January 7, 2018 It seems both wobble and Ki-pump bypassed the main fuel valve, so perhaps it might be possible to pressurize the system and start the engine with it closed. I don't think flying the rest of the mission that way would work, however :D. Already discussed and reported here in December '16, but apparently still not fixed.
