same here crashes just before mission start. reverted back, no crash. Updated to 2.5.1 again and crashes again. seems to happen on Normandy mostly, how ever has happened on Nevada map once or twice. Hasn't crashed on Caucasses map yet. checked driver, is up to date. no mods, tried clean and repair. no help. single monitor.

Usually means a GPU is Being removed from the system by driver or windows kernel.

but I would also do a fresh GPU driver and geforce experience install

Strange - since so many has reported this issue with DCS 2.5.1 --> https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=205782

I see this too, but has no issues with any other game on my system.

 

 

I´m using latest Nvidia driver for my GTX 960.

We are aware of the other posts, and the dev team will see them.

 

I just do my best to help as many as I can try to understand the crash and problem solve it, while encouraging everyone to add their logs and system spec so the dev team have the relevant information. Hopefully this will help the team find fixes or optimise our future builds.

I cannot get multiplayer to load. It freezes when trying to load the plane .

 

In addition, when I loaded a single player mission the a-10’s TGP and TAD are just black screens.

Please add your dcs.log and your system spec.

 

Many of us add our spec to our signatures so it is always available

I retried here...and it seems that there is more crash after reinstall of nvidia drivers (but there are crashes on release version as pointed out in the other thread)

Game crashes every time I try to run it. for me too.

 

Here are my system specs and log files

Could the crashes relate to using pre 2.5.1 missions ?

 

Normally after updating to a new version, I will load the mission I want to fly in the Mission builder and then make a small change and then save it.

 

The missions that crashed for me since 2.5.1 are those I have re-saved.

 

As a test I have build a couple of missions from scratch, similar to those that crashes and now haven´t seen a crash even after flying for a long time.

 

I have tested on the Caucasus and Nevada maps.

The game crash when I try to open it, I did a repair but it does not work, it only works restarting W10

what is your system spec? I do not see a card in the log.

 

Check the gpu is being used correctly and you have a big enough pagefile set

I'm also experiencing crashes in 2.5.1. I'm doing one of the Maple flag TQT missions and I always randomly get DCS.exe has stopped responding. It will happen at the most inopportune times too. Looks like it is trying to load some textures or something of that nature and can not. Attached logs.
