Havoc25
Any one know if there is a command to actually use the visor in a helmet? I only use the rift now, and it (accurately) models looking into the sun. VERY bright. Is there a way to block that or reduce? Thanks.
Kayos
Only certain modules have a visor. What are you flying? [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

Nooch
Turning off HDR would be my best advice. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Bogey Jammer
Brightness output from the rift already simulates wearing of sun protection lens. TonyG
Turning off HDR would be my best advice. Already off, doesn't make a difference.
Nooch
Weird... The sun isn't shining bright in my rift. I have shadows turned off, I don't know if it makes a difference. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Strong05
For Vive or Rift, if you have the wands/controllers just turn them on and pick up your virtual hand to block the virtual sun. I've done this a bunch in the vive and it works great. 5800X3d, 32GB DDR4@3400, 6800 xt, Reverb G2, Gunfighter/TMWH
Essah
Turns out that even with simulated eye protection, staring at the sun is still bright as ****.. who would have guessed.
TonyG
I turned off deferred shading and it made a big difference with the washed out appearance and the blinding effect of the sun in the Rift. HDR was already off.
