HI ,

 

I have had two Crashes why flying Mi8 in the [OCG] TTI server.. (Aust. Based )

 

I have included the LOG file ..

 

I have included the TRK file

 

not sure whats going on here... thisis the second time flying on this server with a crash in teh Mi8 have not seen it on other servers but I have only just started flying it and had only like 4 trips out with wepons on it..

Only just found out how awesome it is when you get used to it..

I'll sort the trk out now..

so after I lot of reading and testing it seems that I have a lot of dx11 errors.

 

also I was using reshader..

 

so seeing all the errors I was having I figured I"ll remove that I had not been overly impressed to start with..

 

how that seems to be a bigger task then it would seem..

I've removed the obvious and the not so obvious.. but I'm still getting lots of dx????? errors

but this does not explain the problems I'm having with the other install I have its never had any mods installed on it..

Hi

 

I would suggest removing all unofficial mods and edits and trying with a vanilla install.

 

I was unable to reproduce the crash on my machine with your tracks.

 

The log points to a memory issue and graphics driver crash, maybe worth ensuring windows and your gpu driver are up to date.

Video Drivers are upto date, did it earlier this week..

 

Trying to get rid of reshader but its hard to eradicate then it should be

 

the other thing is it happens on my CB install and thats never had and mods installed not even srs..

I think that is is a memory issue but what I"m not sure I"m still trying I am about to start it using low settings..

OK so that FAILED TOOO!!

 

I'm going away for work in a couple of days and wont be home for about 5 weeks and was hoping to get as much DCS in before I go but it looks like I'll be REMOVING AND STARTING FROM SCRATCH.....

OK so I have done the Fresh install over 250gig..

 

completed over night so all modules installed

 

but I have no Syria..

 

and when I try to check avaiable its no there.. like I dont own it...

 

this has turned into a disaster ......

Syria is only available in the open beta at the moment. You probably have installed the stable/release version.

 

Please check your version:

 

  • If you have 2.5.6.52437, you're on stable. You can download the open beta: it will be quicker now that you have the stable installed. Just check you have enough disk space to have both versions at the same time.

 

  • If you have 2.5.6.54046, you're on open beta (and Syria should appear).

The version number appears at the bottom right of DCS main menu.

Don't accept indie game testing requests from friends in Discord. Ever.

OK so I have updated to the OPEN BETA LOL ...

 

and I still crash ... out of game....

 

There was no Track file created so I can't include that

I have included the Zip crash report ..

 

So this is now a Fresh Clean install of DCS OB.

 

and its still points to DX11backend.dll issues..

What is DX11Backend anyway is that yours or MS??
