tintifaxl
Insane pricing. I'll pass. Windows 10 64bit, Intel i9-9900@5Ghz, 32 Gig RAM, MSI RTX 3080 TI, 2 TB SSD, 43" 2160p@1440p monitor.
Donut
Insane pricing. I'll pass. Agreed...$222.72 in US dollars for grip only and no base. That means total cost would be about $693 for those who don't own the Warthog yet!!! i5 7600K @4.8GHz | 1080 Ti | 32GB 3200MHz | SSD | DCS SETTINGS | "COCKPIT"
BuzzU
That's ridiculous. You can buy the Warthog stick and base for $201. https://www.amazon.com/Thrustmaster-HOTAS-Warthog-Flight-Stick/dp/B00CBVHJ00/ref=sr_1_2?gclid=Cj0KCQjw_r3nBRDxARIsAJljleEfv9f_5KaZlPI-ui60iqmhgC2yR4t5EN2fxuIKp71RWJfrPCCZT9saAsebEALw_wcB&hvadid=224091992844&hvdev=c&hvlocphy=2840&hvnetw=g&hvpos=1t2&hvqmt=e&hvrand=14457183336704581931&hvtargid=kwd-298529885915&hydadcr=17077_9872671&keywords=warthog%2Bstick&qid=1559254194&s=gateway&sr=8-2&th=1 Buzz
LINKIN
$ 693? I'd rather wait what comes out of the new project. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=235433
Supmua
So it's 30 Euros more expensive than VKB and Virpil's counterpart. You can't really use that low $201 Warthog joystick price since the retail price is $299, plus it's not a brand new product. If the TM F/A-18 grip $199 on Amazon US with free 2-day Prime shipping, I might bite, it would actually be cheaper than what I paid for VKB and Virpil's grips with expensive shipping from oversea. Supmua
It said it was new. Used were cheaper. No I meant the Warthog has been out for years (a decade?), so you will see discount like this sometimes compared to a fresh new product which won't see the price reduction anytime soon. During last Thanksgiving, the whole setup was just $350 which was really a steal. PC: 5800X3D/4090, 11700K/3090, 9900K/2080Ti. GriffonBR
If this really is the value, it is as I feared, more expensive than the line of racing steering wheels.:( Intel 8700K@4.7ghz(all cores) / 32Gb DDR4 /WD Black SN750 Heatsink 500gb (DCS Only) / MSI GeForce RTX 2070 GAMING Z 8G / Windows 10 PRO / VPC WarBRD Base + Warthog Stick + Foxx Mount / Thrustmaster TPR pedals / Thustmaster MFD / Thrustmaster Warthog throttle + Monstertech chair mount
Dudikoff
Interesting, but rather expensive for only a grip, though at least it's metal. Is this small rotary wheel functioning like an encoder or what? I might consider it when I see how it functions with the Cougar base, since that VKB MCG-TM grip never came about and I need another grip as I have two different bases. Also keeping an eye on that WingWin development, as that package looks rather promising (especially the modular throttle grips and plates) if they can offer it from a Euro located store or something without super inflating the price. Fri13
Maybe Thrustmaster is trusting that they have dominant fan base among a HOTAS users, and they can want higher price as how many wants to get new HOTAS just to avoid paying extra for one new grip? i7-8700k, 32GB 2666Mhz DDR4, 2x 2080S SLI 8GB, Oculus Rift S. i7-8700k, 16GB 2666Mhz DDR4, 1080Ti 11GB, 27" 4K, 65" HDR 4K. VirusAM
The price is not far from the virpil (217 euros including taxes and shipping) and vkb grips...why you say it is so high? The stick will also be metal and not plastic...probably rising the cost..but for me is 204 euros including taxes and shipping. I don’t see any scandal here. Also because you won’t need a warthog base to use it...but if you have a virpil, fssb r3, or brunner cls-e you will be able to use it as well.
