That's why I feel the F-15C is a little dull as I can only do air-to-air, and I yearn for a Strike Eagle. Just my thought. I like the Eagle for going fast, but that's it... BTW, going fast - I still wonder about the Tomcat's top speeds. The A is often accounted with being able to go M 2.34, but I've stumbled across an account that said it reached 2.41 with the RIO adjusting the intake ramps manually. Now as the B with those F110 engines have a lot more thrust, I could imagine it would be possible to fly even faster, in theory at least. Probably the intake ramps will limit her to the same speed as the A, also don't forget there are thermal limits. But what if we can play around with the intakes in manual mode? I feel the need...
