We're runing drivers which are 3 years old. I just recently had a chat with NaturalPoint recently. They still putter around, who else is updating the game profiles? They most likely dont see the need to update something that already works practically bug free. Maybe tell them to join in here and clarify "all is working" to us Hi Bitmaster. I have a similar system to yours with a 1080Ti, 144hz Gsync monitor, and TrackIR 5. Can you tell what method you are using to limit your FPS to 60 and are you adjusting your monitor refresh rate at all or just leaving it at 144hz? Also, do you have Full Screen checked or unchecked in DCS settings and/or do you use LALT+ENTER as well. Thank you! i5 7600K @4.8GHz | 1080 Ti | 32GB 3200MHz | SSD | DCS SETTINGS | "COCKPIT"
Hammer1-1
And what is wrong with a 60hz poll rate? It works just fine with a 60hz monitor and not everyone runs -or can afford- a 144hz monitor. You're asking too much for a software update on hardware that can only run at 60hz, that calls for a need to redesign the whole TIR setup. The software works fine as-is. If its a conflict between D3D and OpenGL -as has not been confirmed yet-, then yes a software update should be done. Lange_666
I mean that the trackir stutter seems to be gsync related, but its not very clear what's causing this issue.:) It's not GSync related, it's VSync related because non GSync monitors suffer from it to. Once VSync is turned off and FPS goes higher then 60... stutter when turning your head. VSync on on 60 Hz monitor, 60 FPS, no stutter. And i don't think VSync in general is the problem but more the 60Hz pollrate from the TIR. Hammer1-1
Ever stop to think that it might actually be a hardware limitation? TIR5 came out in 2009 long before 144hz monitors were even talked about. Even with the 60hz poll rate, the 120mhz refresh rate doesnt even come close to the 144mhz, not mentioning the 9ms response time... They already had 144Hz back then, just rare. Either way, time for NP to get out of the ditch and talk about our problem and not hide behind a website. Donut
I have been doing some testing and noticed a great improvement in performance when I locked my FPS to 60. I have EVGA Precision X and set the Frame Rate Target to 61 to get the 60 FPS in game. I leave my monitor at 144HZ and GSYNC on. I leave Full Screen unchecked in game settings and do not use LALT+ENTER. By locking the FPS to 60, I noticed everything is a lot more smooth and no stutters. TrackIr is smooth as well. Even the stutters with weapons hits/effects is gone. Maybe this will help some of you as well! i5 7600K @4.8GHz | 1080 Ti | 32GB 3200MHz | SSD | DCS SETTINGS | "COCKPIT"

DirkLarien
I can report that with quite cheap freesync monitor -> therefore free-sync on and v-sync off. Even 30fps seems silky smooth. Must be in full screen though !!! (cause AMD just don't apply any setting to borderless windows.) Lightning livery for M2000
