I heard back from Bugeye and Aerotronix... You better be sitting down for this.

 

Bugeye wants $12,500 for the F/A-18C HOTAS...

 

Aerotronix replied and said their cheapest grip is $4500... Another $4500 for the throttle... Another $4500 for the rudder pedals...

Wasn't there a post a while back about a replacement Warthog stick being something like $150.00?

 

I used the electronics and switches from a TM Cougar Stick I got off eBay in a Suncom Talon.

 

I Stripped the electronics from the Suncom PCB and used it as the mount for the switches.

 

I used the Suncom 13° angle and 15° offset available here:

And a Gardenea nut.

 

You can go the same route for an AV-8B Stick as well. The biggest different is the Harrier Castle Switch and Weapons selector both use a switch with a "Z" axis. (Push down) Where as far as I can tell, the Hornet only uses cardinal directions.

Last year some guys buy one grip by ~$ 110/120.00 but recently quotation was $ 175.00.

Is not need buy a Warthog grip for have a Shift Register PCB that just cost ~$ 10 in OSPark - plus few components ~$5.

Some guy in these forums can sell Shift Register PCB assembled.
