Default Australaisan Squadron The Flying kiwis

Hi guys, after almost 11 years flying IL2 The Flying Kiwis have moved to DCS World as our primary simulator. Our organized flight nights are Sunday night from 20:30 but we will fly casual missions during the week as well.

At the moment we are doing a squad conversion with the P51D Mustang as we build everyone's modules and maps up, we will be converting to other types as time goes on. Our standard modules at the moment is P51D, Normandy map & WW2 Assets pack and we use Discord for comms. If you are in Australia or New Zealand and you want to check us out you can follow our banter at https://www.simcentral.co.nz/phpBB3/viewforum.php?f=18

Our server is password protected so jump on comms and say hi, we also play a lot of Insurgency for our ground game and to warm up on Sunday nights.

That is all, carry on as you were.

Any other interest in aircraft other than WW2?
I’m living in Europe currently but will be back in Aus by the end of the year, and looking into different squadrons to fly with.

Absolutely, we are looking to start out on the 51 but move into modern era stuff as well once we have a solid base of proficiency

Kiaora fellas,

Welcome to the pain of "WW2" flight simming in DCS. . .
We've a few antipodeans in my unit too (me included) who will be pleased to see you chaps in the skies.
