Back in the day when you had an RWR in a car rdlaugh.png - played TD 1&2 as well, only to find out much later there even was a third one.

BTW it's great to have remakes sometimes:

That orchestral recording of the original intro track is awesome.

Original one: twilightsmile.png

Dave also remade the second theme:

Original two: rainbowdashwink.png

And I'm waiting for an orchestral remake of the third one as much as I'm waiting for DCS: Tornado IDS... so here is original three at least:

Well, at least some guys pulled the original tracks of FFE though some SoundFont banks to make them sound better for FFED3D:

Watching some retrogaming lately, I came across this again:

Funny thing is I never played that game myself, but I watched my brother play it... was too scared of the sandworms, well at the age of 7... other things that made me leave the room were the knights skeleton in those Venice catacombs (Indy 3) and that navigator's head (MI1) icon_redface.gif

While we're at it:

This somehow reminds me of early 2000's minimal techno. Neil Landstrumm, Christian Vogel and all those other Dj's having a similar style... those were the days. Party hard until 7 AM and then going to an after hour club, keep on partying :D

This is what i sometimes listen to while just flying low level on NCTR. Also fits the topic

I'm also a big music-fan besides playing combat simulations :D

I have a huge music collection, but I only like real handemade music, no Techno or such .....

One of my all time favorites and the reason I started to learn guitar many years ago. Sadly I'm not able to pursue this hobby any further, cause of disease, but my 20 year old son plays guitar and he's really, really good now

He plays and hears the same music like his stone old dad does, Hardrock, Blues, Grunge or Progressive and many more ... :drunk:

R.I.P. Stevie, you were the best guitar player ever!

Beast in Black is like an 80s metal band that got lost in a time rift. I love them.

I love everything about the Expanse, basically. It's so good. And, honestly, I think classic metal covered by time period contemporary bands is perfect for the Belter culture.

So, I'm waiting for them to cover Sabbath's Paranoid

I never realized what a brilliant musician John Paul Jones is until this song came up in a Spotify playlist (to be brutally honest, I hadn't even heard his name before. Shame on me, I know.).

John Paul Jones - Leafy Meadows
