Sn8ke_iis Posted September 16, 2019 Share Posted September 16, 2019 (edited) Comcast ISP, Had to use VPN I was getting the updater timeout error. I have Comcast and saw your post. So I connected through a VPN and it's downloading now. Is Comcast interfering with your Torrent client in some way? Thanks for the heads up btw, I was starting to get frustrated. If I try to run a repair, run the updater, download a module, and the daily update check when I run DCS all cause the timeout error without my VPN connected. Our ISP is Spectrum here in central Florida, not sure if it's related but having the same issues as mentioned here. Multiple try's downloading update from 2.5.6.49798 OB to 2.5.6.50321. It would go a bit further then stop... Was working all fine before. Branimir76 Posted May 20, 2021 Share Posted May 20, 2021 Last couple of updates gave me a problem regarding downloading speeds. It is capped at 1.2 mb/s. I run the the server on other computer connected to the same modem. Both with a cable. That one's downloading speed is up to 7 mb/s. 1. Anyone else had the same problem and how did you fix it? 2. When using my Comcast ISP, I get about 8mbs avg download speed from DCS.
