True words! The Hind will show if there's still a future for helicopters in DCS. But right now the Hind looks like a stepson to ED.

Oh no!

This is sad indeed.

Like others have also written, this was by far the module I was looking forward to the most. However, thank you Olli for even attempting the project in the first place. It is a massive undertaking to devote so much time to creating such a superb 3D model, and it must also be disappointing to you too. Despite the bad news, thank you also for letting us know. I wish you every success in all your other projects and truly hope that one day the Bo-105 may take to the skies somehow.

So let me be a prophet: Ther will be no new helicopter module in DCS bevor 2024
No True.. Eagle dynamics allready rework Ka 50, improving it at same time... and work on Mi24P Hind. They also plan Cobra. So yeah... Both chopper in work get a huge work done since one is based on Mi 8 Engine/plateform and the other one is based on huey one... But... Still there is some choppers comming.

And Btw... we don't all get time to spam forum to get things mooving... And we don't, for many of us, relations and relatives working on coding etc... So all we can do is encourage, ask some news, and share it. But... that all...

I was really hopping polyshop could try to help miltech after the crisis pass away... But sound like polyshop are no longer interessed in dcs, or at least giving us some news about their project. They even give up on gazelle multicrew.

At the end of the day, getting planes is fine, i love them too. And if it allow to get 3rd devs making those to get money, and they bring to us some unpopular/unknowed/less famous planes and choppers... I'm fine with that.
Lots of you seems to forget DCS is allready really exclusive, and full time devs like ED or Razbam or HB need to make money. For that they use popular modules like Hornet, Vyper, Hind, Warthog, Strike eagle, Harrier, Huey, ... Since most of you know that, european and russian model are also very hard to get licensed and some of them are not famous or popular. Mirage 2000C brings a lot of trouble from dassault to razbam.... And at the end it's not a very famous plane. Only europeans buy it. Also, most people want some modern stuff so Huey, saber, Mig15, Mig21, F5, mig 19, mi8 are not very popular. People prefer some kiowa, apaches, F18, F16...

So beeing a dev is not making what you want... But first, making what people want and buy. Then you get module you want. That what ED and Razbam do...
