Nu-NRG Posted October 18, 2014 Share Posted October 18, 2014 (edited) So here is another warthog extender. My idea, my design. Idea behind it was to bring the stick closer to my body with any offset. Design, well it was free flow. It turned out nicer than expected. Materials used: 1x M36x2 ÜWM-L nut 1x M36x2 GV-L cupling connector (male) 1x 1m 20x1.5 inox pipe (Actual used cca 22cm) 1x 15cm 25x2 inox pipe (Actual used 20mm) 1x Round profile with inner Ø25 / outer Ø34, cut out from 10mm steel/inox plate 1x PS/2 extender 1x Expertiese or services to bend, cut, smooth, assemble and weld everything together Pros: Interesting stick throw Any offset at both points Sturdy, no "wobbling" feeling from extender it self Cons: Stick falls back on it's own with no return (to be remedied) To do: PS/2 extender Default coil spring replacement (A. main coil spring or B. smaller four + invert) Pictures: I'll post up dimensions and instructions if anyone is interested. I've attached my stick to old Wheel Stand Pro V1 with my own made plate...but it's not 100% good. When I inverted the 4 small springs the stick holds "back" position and does not free fall. It does not return from "back" position either. Front, left and right it does return. I would prefer to have some extra length on the end of the S pipe, that way I can customize the final height for my Pit.
