ME-262 flying replica

In Everett WA (USA) there has been a group of volunteers building several ME-262's (5, iirc). They used an original 262 which had been displayed somewhere as a "war trophy. Because it was too rusty to fly, they took it apart piece-by-piece and made the parts with modern materials and engines. (The builders/designers were mostly retired Boeing engineers.)

 

They made a couple single- and two-seat versions each.
