catt42
Hi everybody, Could anyone please provide some references or first hand stories about Usaf in the late 1950s? I'd like to learn more about training, Atc, range procedures, syllabi, etc. In particular I'm interested in the training of Sabre’s pilots at Fighter Weapons School at Nellis. Thanks. VZ_342
I don’t have any true first hand accounts, but I read a book in the mid-70s in 6th grade which was written in 1962 for young teens. Quite a bit dated now, but maybe it has something about the mindset of new enlisted Airmen of the time. Austin of the Air Force Their morals and outlook on life in general were much different than today.
