VpR81
Hey mate, how you doing? Still in the process of moving? I know it´s been a while but i promised to inform you about customizing my rig for a center mounted stick and i finally got it done a few weeks ago. Just had no time to take pictures and upload them until now. The rig evolved a little bit and i uploaded a few pictures about it´s status right now. It´s not finished yet, as i´m still looking for a solution to mount some TM MFDs. Anyways, i hope this will give you an idea how it works with a center stick. https://forums.eagle.ru/album.php?albumid=1793 I used a hammer and some metal crafting tools to mark the spots where to drill the holes. Sorry, i don´t know the english designation of these tools, so i attached a picture of those i used. Hope this helps. cheers Phanteks EvolvX / Win 11 / i9 12900K / MSI Z690 Carbon / MSI Suprim RTX 3090 / 64GB G.Skill Trident Z DDR5-6000 / 1TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD / 2TB PCIe 3.0 NVMe SSD / 2TB SATA SSD / 1TB SATA SSD / Alphacool Eisbaer Aurora Pro 360 / beQuiet StraightPower 1200W RSEAT S1 / VPC T50 CM2 + 300mm extension + Realsimulator F18 CGRH / VPC WarBRD + TM Warthog grip / WinWing F/A-18 Super Taurus + F-15EX / 4x TM Cougar MFD / Slaw Device RX Viper V3 / HP Reverb G2
KWard
The RSeat S1 top plate is strong enough to support the stick without any additional reinforcement?
VpR81
The RSeat S1 top plate is strong enough to support the stick without any additional reinforcement? Yes, absolutely. I also have no concerns about mounting additional stuff to it, i.e. a stand for the MFDs. KWard
Thank you very much, VpR81. I have been considering the S1--among other options, and I still haven't made a decision yet--and I had been wondering and worrying about how to modify it for a center stick. Ranma13
https://vkbcontrollers.com/?product_cat=ucm-stronghold-mounts My bad, I'm looking for something cockpit style, not a table mount..
jalfrezi
I went for this, it's not cheap but it's been working well for me, so far. Like the Monster Tech stuff there are plenty of options/accessories to customise it to how you would like it. EDIT: With the Next Level setup centre mount joystick extensions are limited to a maximum of 75-100mm in length due to the mounting point.
