Bug : INS problem on campaign!

Hello,

I have a very strange bug and it's not easy to explain the issue. On campaign mission, I have a INS alignment issue.

To check this bug, make a first free flight on Vaziani parking 34 in Cold and Dark and perform a full INS alignment. The Map, and all instruments will match. No issue here. It's normal.

But now do the same with the mission 6 on the M-2000C campaign and you'll see a big big alignment mismatch. The INS will match the heading of the game map (F10) but the HUD, HSI and standby compass will indicate something at +40° of the map HDG !

Any idea ?

Using full INS alignment and Auto Alignment (from the options) don't change anything.

Thanks! :helpsmilie:

Ps: If you want to check it quickly, you can see that bug without any alignment. Simply make a Free Mission at Vaziani parking 34 and check the Stand By compass (the small hidden instrument located close to the PCN.)

Do the same on the Mission 6 and check the compass.

Ps : The standby compass is totally unlink to the aircraft systems. It's a very simple instrument like a 200 years old instrument :)

I have a -150º heading error in mission 2 so. Something really weird.

Ha ? I had the same issue on mission 5. something like -100°

I used the map to check where I have to go and of-course, I went on the opposite side !

From another thread is the January month that causes this strange effect.

To fix it:

Rename the mission file to .rar

Open the .rar file and with notepad++ open the mission file.

Search for DATE in the mission file.

Change Month :1 to any other ( 12 for example )

Save the file.

Rename the mision again to .miz.

Double clic on the .rar file and inside there is a mission file.

This is the file you need to open with notepad.

Hi guys,

I tried the same, renamed the mission file (.miz file) to .rar, could open the mission file within the rar with notpad and changed the month.

After saving the file I haven`t been able to change the .rar file back to a .miz file, it remains a rar.

Any ideas?

Edit: ok, I was able to rename the file in the rar-archive itself
