ricktoberfest
What is the difference with the Hawk for dcs If i may ask ? What are the requirements to get the dcs label ? I was told in another thread that DCS titles are simply a way of saying that it's up to a certain quality standard of ED's. That usually includes clickable cockpits and a decent flight model- but it's up to them and not a requirement that every system be modeled. Calman
Any idea when the C-101 will be available on steam? Calman
Hawk still isn't on steam, though. I don't think it is officially out yet. Is it? not really wanting the Hawk anyway, but that is for another discussion. :D Edited January 22, 2015 by Calman "Failure is always an option and landing is always optional." -Cal the Almighty -Founder of the Pandas -Callsign: Mother Warning: Prolonged exposure to DCS Forums may cause tourettes syndrome. emg
Anyone seen an open MP server with C-101 slots? I checked virtual aerobatics but couldn't find any C-101 in the list. I don't think it(Hawk) is officially out yet. Is it? I'd guess C-101 is officially in beta until the combat variant and AFM are released this spring. Calman
The server I run has them and I have seen some servers advertise that they have them, you might just have to look into some of them :) "Failure is always an option and landing is always optional." -Cal the Almighty -Founder of the Pandas -Callsign: Mother Warning: Prolonged exposure to DCS Forums may cause tourettes syndrome. No43
It is worth the wait. With AFM, it will be a prefect aerobatic plane. And this DCS module is shout for a detailed jet training DLC! Some kind of jet training school. I think missions like these: - startup and shutdown procedures with or without emergency situations - take off and landing in difficult conditions - route flights with different navigational approaches - in flight emergency exercises - formation flight exercises - ... There is a lot of potential! I'm very close to falling in love. :-)

NeilWillis
Yes, but I'm hoping a lot of that will be included with the purchase and not extra. If it was all packaged in a single campaign - like the Maple Flag team did for the A-10C, I'd not complain if it cost a few dollars. I'm more concerned about content than cost, and the hours that are put into any of these features are done by someone. Don't they deserve to eat? kontiuka
Don't they deserve to eat?Sure. I'm just getting at that there are minimum things I'd like to see included with the module(s). Obviously, a full manual. And interactive training that covers the basics. And a handful of single missions or even a simple campaign. But more advanced stuff like in the Maple Flag missions, ya, I'm fine with that being extra.

pered
I'd rather have no virtual war next to my favourite country ^^ Gotta catch them all bandits! :joystick:
emg
It would be virtual war like in the Nevada map ;). Anyway it's just empty talk of course, another thread was asking about a Spanish DCS map and I thought of Aviodev. And the 146km ruler is an indication of map size, not an attack profile ;).
