Devrim
Hi... I've got some private messages (here and Facebook etc.) about J-11 EN cockpit. After the last message I needed to open this thread. You can use same cockpit mod that I made for Su-27, for J-11A. Please read the following instructions to install. At this step you download the Su-27 EN cockpit mod, install and rename folder name to Cockpit_J-11A. DOWNLOAD: DCS World Flaming Cliffs 3: Complete Su-27 English Cockpit Mod v1.3.2 Updated: 09/2017 If you have been already using this mod, please scroll down. Install the mod according to Read Me file. Now, go to "C:\Users\{your-user-name}\Saved Games\DCS\Liveries" "DCS" folders may differ (DCS, DCS.openbeta etc.). Rename Cockpit_Su-27 to Cockpit_J-11A.That's it. Now, you can choose your cockpit from Customized Cockpit menu to enable it. The end. If you already have Su-27 EN cockpit mod: Go to "C:\Users\{your-user-name}\Saved Games\DCS\Liveries" Make a copy of Cockpit_Su-27 folder and rename it to Cockpit_J-11A. That's it. Now, you can choose your cockpit from Customized Cockpit menu to enable it. The end. Maybe later, I'll upload this instructions to User Files. Thank you. Have fun. :D Note: You may also want to check [DCS World FC3] Su-27 Gray Cockpit Mod for J-11A. Rudel_chw
Thanks a lot ... will give it a try soon (I’m away from home for 2 weeks), but so far have been using all of your soviet cockpits with no trouble (for some reason, the Mirage and Viggen I like them on their native language, but with cyrillic and chinese I prefer the translation) :) Best regards and thanks again for all the work you have made for the DCS community. Gerbilskij
Thank you very much for the update. Is there a way to (simply) remove the tinted canopy? Default J-11A seems to be fully transparent.
Devrim
I'll check it out mate. Thanks for feedback. Will be back. Dutch Baron
Hello all, I took liberty to edit Devrim's AWESOME work to change the yellow tint on the canopy to be clear again. The ZIP file contains the complete 'Liveries' folder, but then with both SU27 and J11A in there, install it exactly like Devrim posted, but now you don't need to rename a folder to J11A. I used the No Yellow Tint Mod from 'Sneeke' to make this, so credits go out to him for making the yellow tint disappear. https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/2802618/?sphrase_id=9845496 @Devrim feel free to add this to your own files and share it as a complete package (I am not looking for any mention of my name anywhere, just here to help out a bit ;).
