BoneDust
I find since the last 2 updates I am crashing. Just had a crash flying online; that's the 4th one since the last update. Other fellas on the wing are experiencing more crash to desk tops as well as not being able to contact the tanker. Some players can call on the tanker while others get no AI voice from themselves or the tanker, yet they can hear the other players calling and the tanker responding to them. I can't recall having any crashes prior to these last two updates. No crash logs that I'm aware of. Tango777
Same here. Prior to the latest Openbeta update a few days ago everything was running just fine. Openbeta for me does not ctd, it literally locks up my computer. I can't even access the Task Manager. What I can do is press Ctrl+Alt+Del which sends me to a blue screen with some options but when I click on Task Manager, all I get is a DCS splash screen. The only thing I can do is reboot, sleep, or shut down. I have other 64 bit and 32 bit simulators, but only DCS Openbeta causes the computer to lock up. Running Openbeta repair does not solve the problem. DCS release version (stable version) does not caause this locking up problem. Openbeta freezes the computer during a mission, after clicking fly again, clicking to go back to the mission editor after a mission, sometimes after I click on a mission to fly, etc... Name the task at hand in DCS Openbeta and it will lock up the computer, it is only a question of when. I allowed the computer to sit for over an hour when Openbeta quits responding but it just sits on whatever screen DCS Openbeta is on when it stops responding. I have rebooted, turned the computer off and on, gone straight to DCS (running as admin as always) hoping that RAM is "refreshed", but that does nothing to help. Openbeta is not generating crash logs, only 2 text documents dated today: DCS and Debrief. I can't recall having any crashes prior to these last two updates. No crash logs that I'm aware of. Same for us. We are five buddys/players and we all crash to desktop since 2.5.4 Different missions and servers, also in SP. Did a flight tonight and it was crash to desktop on two occasions. I love 2.5.4, but it is really unstable now compared to a few versions back. Will try to get some logs going. So far. It happens more often when switching from cockpit/F10 map. Hope that ED are aware of this situation, as 100% of our little flight group are affected by it.

Palten
Since I don't know what reshader is, I assume I'm not using it. Is it something I have to install myself? robgraham
Just one question nine, we automatically upload bug reports every crash now, or at least my server does and my actual machine, which if looked at should show that with the current open beta builds there are a lot more crashes happening. I see your Christen Eagle isnt loading, looks like it might be getting blocked by anti-virus/firewall. I use reshade (latest version) as usually since months, as for Christen Eagle I dont own the mod , I have no anti-virus installed expect the on which come with windows but I've disabled "real-time" scan. And yes my CPU is overclocked but it's always been , 8700k@5.0 ghz but I have no problems in other games . OLD CROW
This last open beta release has a lot of buggs. I have no idea what is interfering my controls, but this new version is 100% unplayable. In config menu everything is ok but ingame the joystick inputs are a mess, seems like everything is unconfigured. Another bugg is in F/A-18 cockpit when you set the fuel probe for an air refueling: the right MFD and a part of the cockpit just start blinking. and the last one: What is that arcade radar layout for WW2? Personally I think this is not the best solution for WW2 spotting old issues: now I don't know if I'm playing a WW2 simulator or "star wars rogue squadron" Edited January 22, 2019 by OLD CROW A simple Human being's Passion

LooseSeal
Just to add my name to the list without creating a new thread for it as it seems like the same thing... DCS had always been very stable for me until last week's update, but now just constant crashes, particularly on missions with more units involved (maybe??). I'm getting crashes on the Hornet Task Force Challenger campaign a few minutes after take-off in mission 2, for example. Video card drivers are up to date (as of last week), no mods installed (ever), and nothing else has changed except the update last week. Also, page file was increased to try to solve it as I believed it was related to cycling the F2 key, but even if I don't do that, it still crashes. Regarding the page file, though, in my DXdiag it does say: 18368MB used, 17694MB available. Which seems like odd mathematics to me... but could be unrelated.dcs.log-20190122-205927.zip - i7-7700k - 32GB DDR4 2400Mhz - GTX 1080 8GB - Installed on SSD - TM Warthog DCS Modules - A-10C; M-2000C; AV8B; F/A-18C; Ka-50; FC-3; UH-1H; F-5E; Mi-8; F-14; Persian Gulf; NTTR
