Flagrum
I haven't found out the exact pattern here, but something is broken with AUTO deliveries of dumb bombs when switching priority stations with the STEP function. The EFUZ setting seems to get lost sometimes if the QTY is changes before or after switching the priority station with STEP. The delivery options and fuze settings apply to all stations, it is not a setting per station/bomb, correct? So if I pickel several times, the aircraft itself switches subsequently through the stations and effectively all releases use the same EFUZ setting and all bombs explode on impact. But if I change either QTY or (or maybe both, not sure here) STEP to another station before pressing pickle, the newly selected station(s) sometimes do not respect the EFUZ settings (i.e. go dumb and don't explode). This seems to be only related to AUTO delivery, CCIP seems to work ok in this regard. Also this seems to be only a problem, if I manually STEP - if the aircraft switches stations, it seems to be ok as well.AUTO EFUZ 1r.trkAUTO EFUZ 2r.trkAUTO EFUZ 3r.trk

ED Team BIGNEWY Posted June 23, 2020 ED Team Share Posted June 23, 2020 Hi just checked with the team the issue here is the low release of the second drop. Below minimums for release of payload. thanks Forum rules - DCS Crashing? Flagrum
Thanks Bignewy for the feedback. It makes totally sense now - I was too busy fiddeling with QTY and so on and didn't realize that I was descending to far... But ... But then there is a problem with the DUD indication on the HUD. Afaik it always worked when using CCIP, but in AUTO there seem to be issues as the DUD indication does not show up (otherwise I would probably have figured out by myself). The HUD indicates a perfectly releasable situation, only after pressing the pickle button the MC decides otherwises. Please see the attached screenshots! ED Team BIGNEWY Posted June 23, 2020 ED Team Share Posted June 23, 2020 No problem, I just checked it seems to be working for me, once you have designated a target for auto it should show DUD and the cross should appear. Flagrum
No problem, I just checked it seems to be working for me, once you have designated a target for auto it should show DUD and the cross should appear. Ok, I got it now. During Ball-and-Chain there is nothing designated yet and therefore the aircraft has no idea wether or not the parameters will be met in the end. But once designated, I then see the proper DUD cue if appropriate. Learned somthing today - thanks!
