No. 1.0.1 patch will be different for localized versions.

Hi all,

I installed 1.0.1. patch and I have the shortcuts for her on my desktop, so I don't want the old ones any more. But I can't delete them cause:

"This is no longer located in C:\Users\Public\Public Desktop. Verify the item's location and try again".

There ain't a ...\Public Desktop directory anyway, but the bigger problem is that two useless shortcuts. How can I delete 'em?

I'm on Windows 7 RC x64.

Had the same issue - As Dragon correctly states, a restart deleted the obselete shortcuts.

reactivate

 

i had to reactivate after installing the 1.0.1, so i lost 1 activation due to the 1.0.1 .

so is it 1 actication for each update??????

o ILLUMINATION FLARE – Generates an illumination flare. Select the trigger zone in which the flare will appear at the center. Select the flare’s altitude above ground in meters. The flare burns for 2 minutes, during which it will descend 1,000 m.

I see the above in the readme, but where are they in the trigger list? I see something called and "illuminating bomb" which must be the illumination flare, but where is the "smoke marker"? Bug? Bad install?:helpsmilie:

Key F5 (refresh screen) and it's done.

Great job on the patch. It completelly deleted all my keybindings and now I have to manually assign them.

I do. I have them saved as a custom profile but when I load them up, all I get is my X52 bindings while all the keyboard bindings are gone.

Now I can't assign Views using the default function keys (F1, F2, F3, etc.), keyboard is simply not registering them.

Are you really sure DCS is the cause, and not just a symptom that something else is wrong in the system?

^^Actually, it worked after the reboot, so yes, it was the system.

I still can't assign / bring back the default keybindings. I tried to enter them manually but I got some popup window displaying errors with file paths..

What is the exact file containing the controls/keybindings?

Can someone please post it here (English download version).

Cannot Intstall Patch 1.0.1a

 

When I run the patch it bombs out with the following error

 

"Black Shark is not found. reinstall application"

 

Which is somewhat weird as Black Shark is installed and works!

 

OS is Windows XP Home.

 

Any ideas?

This is an important question for me :

 

 

You add a groundunit e.g. an ABRAMS and give it a holdingtime of 23h.

You DON'T check the checkbox "shown before missionstart" so the unit is invisible.

You add a triggerzone over the unit.

 

Is this unit "out of triggerzone" till it is not activated?

 

In V1.0 it was out of triggerzone but I don't know if this was volitional.

I want to know if this behavior is still the same or else I have to do some changes in my missions.

 

 

Edit: And what's with dead units? In V1.0 they were "out of triggerzone". Was this changed?
