SmirkingGerbil
I am getting something similar, but with different module and circumstance. However, using the USS Theodore (CVN 73?) only, I get CTD or frozen screen when I am damaged from enemy boats while flying the A-10C on the Persian Gulf Map. This is a standalone simple mission I created. Once I take damage from enemy boat fire, screen will freeze in cockpit of A-10C, and sounds will continue in background, but DCS is unresponsive and never recovers. If I remove CVN 73 from the mission, this does not occur. If needed I can upload information. Just wanted to bolster your account that for my simple mission the presence of a CVN will cause DCS to lockup on aircraft (piloted) taking damage. Pointy end hurt! Fire burn!! gulredrel
:-( Even with just the Stennis, so no Super Carrier, the same crash occurs right after mission start. Log Attached. Edit: Must be related to this: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=274164 as my system has a Phenom II X4 840 3.2 MHz.dcs.log-20200522-190621.zip Edited May 23, 2020 by gulredrel

gulredrel
Haven't tried it yet, but I doubt so. https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=4353910&postcount=69 I think my CPU isn't supporting this SSE4.1, cause it's a Phenom II and not a FX or Ryzen. edit: Tried to start updated OB and getting the message, that my CPU is not supported.
