joey45
Looking good. The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance. dhevans79
Out of interest, I see in the screenshots posted so far that there is also a visible difference to the layout of buildings and village / town structures. How have the ED team gone about these updates? Are they based off satellite imagery (ie Google maps) or is this artistic licence as in normal game level design? Goa
They are new clouds which are already included in the game and can be unlocked by tampering with the files. How's that??Do you mean in the current 1.5.7? Also I would like to as if why there is no news on the new caucasus map?I mean during the last 2 months we've only about strait of hormutz/f18/harrier updates in the newsletter but regarding Caucasus there is no news at all (exepct a few vids and screenshots). ED Team NineLine Posted November 19, 2017 ED Team Share Posted November 19, 2017 The clouds you can access though current versions are not completely what you see in new screenshots and vids, and they are not stable at all, so toying with them is to be done at your own risk. Caucasus and 2.5 is still the priority, and they are working towards a version that can be released to Open Testing. 1 Forum Rules • My YouTube • My Discord - NineLine#0440• **How to Report a Bug**

Fri13
I am just hoping that we are going to see far more variety to the clouds formations than just few "buffy" ones floating around or then sudden thick layer. i7-8700k, 32GB 2666Mhz DDR4, 2x 2080S SLI 8GB, Oculus Rift S. i7-8700k, 16GB 2666Mhz DDR4, 1080Ti 11GB, 27" 4K, 65" HDR 4K. Fri13
There are lot of things screenshots can't show like AI pathfinding, performance improvments, unit placement for campains... Yeah. I am interested for a few things visually (like want to see more variation to clouds generation and syncing so we can finally start to fly between them and use them as cover for both Air as Ground units. But more interested I am for the mechanics like radical improvement for radar systems (fluid/ray simulation) and other targeting systems (IR, tracking, locking) and many things for mission editor like simplify the mission creation by like creating a RTS elements to game so a infantry squad is a single unit instead group with multiple units inside by default. More like combining the template to mission editor so mission editor is more like a realistic strategic map without tactical elements unless you go close range. Lots of things needs to change underhood in mechanics and we just can't see them until we get our hands on update so we can start to test and try things. Pig with lipstick is still a pig, and you can go only so far until people start to realize that lipstick is weared by a pig. And at that point you need to do something about it. i7-8700k, 32GB 2666Mhz DDR4, 2x 2080S SLI 8GB, Oculus Rift S. i7-8700k, 16GB 2666Mhz DDR4, 1080Ti 11GB, 27" 4K, 65" HDR 4K. Mustang
Any chance of seeing a pic or two from high altitude? I'm interesting with how well the terrain textures blend at distance and if there is any noticeable terrain texture repetition/tiling (especially more so at the extreme north of the map where there are large empty swathes of terrain)
