Cinematic Directors' Camera Suite

Recommended Posts

Multiple cinematic camera views and effects for capturing footage like with the replay option. Includes apertures, lenses, exposure settings etc. Plus a record function better than the current track recording where player aircraft can dive into the ground etc.

Plus with free camera to place anywhere with ease.

Something like x-plane 6 and 7 had

I don’t know about later x-planes because i had only 6 and 7

The fly-by camera was very nice because you could rotate around the aircraft while it was flying-by and you could also zoom in and out but there were two zoom functions.

One function would zoom the entire world including the terrain and the other would zoom only the aircraft, in practice the second zoom function would moove the eyes of the spectator closer to the aircraft.

I hope it makes sense.

I’m not trying to compare the two sims or suggesting that this should be copied but may be it could be used as a starting point to develop better external and cinematic views.

External cameras are not only useful during a replay or recording, they are very helpful also during gameplay itself,if an external camera is properly done it can contribute to the feeling the aircraft is truly flying
