Pello86 Posted August 14, 2020 Share Posted August 14, 2020 Hi guys, I am in the F18 and I have checked in with JTAC at waypoint 3 and hes given me the coordinates to attack N25 51 54 E56 16 40. What is the best thing to do to attack this coordinate with a laser guided GBU or Maverick. I am currently trying to set the coordinates from a waypoint using the data tab in the HSI screen! I don’t know if this is the right thing to do? razo+r Posted August 14, 2020 Share Posted August 14, 2020 You enter the coordinates (if possible) into your waypoints, look at where it is, look out for potential threats, watch the terrain and possible escape routes and then attack according to your plan that you just set up with the safer weapons. Just to clear things up, the coordinates are not the precise location of the enemy ? It’s just the area in with the enemy are in and I’ll need JTAC to laser point the target for me? Thanks.
