Our apologies, everyone,

for some reason the ChromeCat skin did not get included in the update. We will include it in the next patch, but for those of you who do not want to wait, here is a download link in the meantime:

https://www.mediafire.com/file/8lr6qrl9a6cplhz/ChromeCat.rar

Extract and place the skin folder in your DCS/coremods/aircraft/f14/liveries/f14b folder.

Enjoy!

Out of curiosity, would an unpainted (and polished) F-14 really look like that?

Hehe, I dont think so. This is simply a polished version of our placeholder "chromecat" skin that we used during development, before the Kitty got its textures and skins. It is just a fun skin, really, if you like and a bit nostalgia for us.. :)

This explains why you had so much trouble with SWR burning out your radar during development...

Thanks, but that site has DL rates like 20 years ago... they really should upgrade from 56k dialups to an actual internet connection icon_question.gif

BTW, since the chromecat basically is your prototype, will we ever have the chance to get the real prototype livery for DCS officially? I'd love to see that one...

Extract and place the skin folder in your DCS/coremods/aircraft/f14/liveries/f14b folder.

Enjoy!

Just did, but when i go into the mission creator, i don't find the new skin available. Is there a step i'm missing here?

P.S. first time new skin downloader here, so forgive the "noob-ness"

EDIT:

Gah! Didn't notice there was a ChromeCat sub folder created when i unzipped! I think i'm gonna go and find a corner to hide into now! :holiday:
