[OUTDATED] Our roadmap

Hoping for the GR3a Jag.

A Jaguar GR1A is fine for me as I like the 80's cold war birds much more than the 90's and later birds with the all of the latest updates. I wouldn't mind a Jaguar T2A as well but I doubt anyone would take a crack at that one.

Truly superior pilots are those that use their superior judgment to avoid those situations where they might have to use their superior skills.

If you ever find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics suck!

I cant wait for the mirage 3!!!

I really cant wait for the mirage 3!

It was for a long time the backbone of the South African airforce, as the mirage, and later as the Cheetah (Kfir with a different avionics suite and engine).

i have been begging them for weeks for just a little bit more on my beloved delta, but to no avail! not even a get lost!

I would be happy with anything at this stage!

How about M2000B/D? :P

Personally, I would be a lot more interested in the M2000-5, because of the MICA missiles.

On a different note, are there still people working on the M2000C? It is still listed as "beta", so I would like to see this module in the "full release" status before any other jets being released...

Gents:

Thanks for all the positive messages and constructive criticism, rest assured we read everything and take notes on suggestions and always open to ideas.

But 3rd party simulator content development is a time consuming and resource demanding en devour, so we need to set a road map to follow.

Thanks for all the wish lists (really, appreciate the confidence in us), rest assured that when time comes, we´ll do it (provided we can, due to license agreements with ED)

Our current schedule is the following (in no particular order)

AV-8B Night Attack Harrier II

Mig-19 (final versions to be announced)

A-29 Super Tucano

Mirage III

These are what we are currently working on, with dedicated teams with no conflicts between each project, you can follow their progress thru here or our Facebook page.

Also, we are putting final touches to the M2000C module.

Deadlines have been set, no, they can not be announced, but you´ll have at least 1 new module this year (my personal goal is 2 a year, let´s see if it can happen)

Once again, thanks for the confidence, rest assured 2017 is going to be a very busy year for us.

Best regards

Ron

I fully support and trust you and can't wait for the harrier.

The AV-8B N/A is a long way off from the Sea Harrier and the GR.3 that flew over the Falklands.

A lot of work seems to already have been done on the Strike Eagle (back in 2012), when the project was put on hold to wait for ED to release its ground radar implementation.

It sure does :) We have someone in our squadron who's dad worked on the JP233, so I know who'll be flying the Tornado when it releases ;-)

Prowler111, any consideration at all to the WWII aircraft, or are you guys strictly semi-modern aircraft? Since VEAO is not making any more aircraft (they had a big roadmap of WWII aircraft), it would be disappointing if 100% of the future WWII aircraft came from ED.

Or do you guys strictly do jets?

Edit: By the way, looking forward to the Harrier and Super Tucano!

I am a long time SFP1/WoX/SF2 series fan. I bought all of the Razbam addon aircraft for SFP1/WoX: A-1 Skyraider, F2H Banshee, and F-102 Delta Dagger. All of these aircraft would be great in DCS World. The A-1 Skyraider is useful for both the Korean War and Vietnam plane sets. The F2H-2 Banshee would be great for the Korean War. The F-102 is a special case. Given Razbam's experience with modeling the Mirage 2000 and eventually the Mirage III, the F-102 would be another pure delta which could reduce development delays/headaches when it comes to the flight modeling. My personal preference would be for the Banshee, but I would gladly buy any/all of these three aircraft if they are well modeled by DCS World standards.

That VEAO is not making aircraft anymore is just wrong. I'm not going into details here, because it's the wrong place but I really recommend to take a look at the VEAO section of this forum to see what's actually going on.

Your question if RAZBAM is only doing jets should be answered by the development of the Super Tucano ;)
