Weird clouds

Could you guys, please, have a look ( some larger display would be better ) and tell me if those clouds look ok ?

I'm not sure but I think I have a problem with the display / graphic card.

Just looks like you have shadows turned off to me.

I have this issue with every flight sim / other sims ....

Something is wrong with the graphic card / display.

Are these blocky artefacts from the picture compression or do you see this in game?

This is how it looks for me + settings:

I recorded a video, last year ( DCS - F18 ) and there is a printscreen from this video

When I play the video, it looks exactly like in the printscreen.

When I play, for example, XP11, it's impossible to fly through the clouds.

They look like they are burning ( i don't know how to describe )

Something is wrong and I can't figure it out who's the culprit : my display / GPU / driver / cable ?

You need to check your tv menu setting and make sure it’s on the correct PC settings. From the video it looks like lag.

Mouse setting in windows called trails. Maybe you have very higher than 20/20 vision, I don’t see that in your video

Well looks like color bleed to me where white is the brightest and its going to show more subtle blooming.

depends on how they made that TV. could be an issue with the type of LCD screen? who knows that's why I don't use TV's they have less than desirable effects on some games.

20/20 refers to your sight distance, In 20/20 being the best.

also check your NVIDIA drivers some scaling ability doesn't work on TV's.

Looks like dynamic contrast keeping the backlight bright behind the mouse cursor.

If that TV has a "game mode" try enabling that. If not, go through the menus and turn every "feature" off. Looking at the link you gave from Amazon, the following things:

"Motion Picture Improvement" turn this off.

"Picture Perfect Plus" OFF.

"Dynamic Contrast Plus" OFF.

I'm using Game Mode, with PC HDMI 1 input ( i tried everything ) and there are already a lot of stuff disabled

If your display would be the error then we wouldn't be able to see it.

Just wait till we get the new clouds, then it should be solved/fixed.

If you have it on full, try using limited (which is recommended for HDMI)

Question nr 2 : if there is an issue with the nVidia software, TV displays or anything else, the new clouds would look exactly like they look now
