New 3D model of the Spitfire Mk IX CW... interesting...

Does this mean that we might get a fix for the Spitfire prop? If so, I guess the question is do we have any of when? Does the picture imply that it's "in progress", "done and implemented" or what?

One other question. Does anyone else think that DCS 2.5 is now multi-core on it's CPU usage? Seems to be, but maybe I'm going nuts.

System: 9700, 64GB DDR4, 2070S, NVME2, Rift S, Jetseat, Thrustmaster F18 grip, VPC T50 stick base and throttle, CH Throttle, MFG crosswinds, custom button box, Logitech G502 and Marble mouse.

Server: i5 2500@3.9Ghz, 1080, 24GB DDR3, SSD.

Well, there was an update today:

Right after I spent two days downloading 45GB again because I had 2.2 with Nevada installed on another drive and the old installer couldn't copy the files properly.

Always a pleasure to be a betatester for ED.

What is the name of this version, I don't remember? Was it something like Open Beta? What does that mean again?

I am curious, I will wait until ED has a chance to investigate/repair any issues brought up by all the folks beta testing. When this released version(2.5) is available I am going to assume that it will have the new installer and that it will load onto a completely bare system without any of the older versions.

OR will I have to load any of the older versions so the loader will not get lost if it finds no older versions?

It will be a completely new install. Not an upgrade from 1.5xx to 2.5.

I like ...

"Now you can delete missions or tracks with Delete key in the Mission and Track open panels."

Been waiting a long time for that little feature. A mission / track rename feature would be nice too. :)

Is there readme for the hotfix? I can't find any info about it.

The changelog has been posted one page back in this very thread.

Besides that you can always find the changelogs here: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=3384760

Thanks for the info! So you mean it's already better with the 2nd hotfix, or that it's being worked on in the background and they have made progress?

Should see some improvement, but the problem is not completely fixed yet.
