C'mon guys! Stop asking for stuff, this isn't a wishlist. Let them release the damn thing already. When they do we can b*tch about whatever doesn't work.

I'm curious about this also, but it will vary from rig to rig. They could release it now and we can do our own test. ;)

This is what I'm saying, lets have this product in our hands first. We don't even know what the final build will incorporate. Our feedback of the 2.5 release version will be the most important information for the development team. Let them release it, then our feedback will be relevant.

For now it's all WIP.

Happy Bug Hunting!

I agree that 2.5 merge is a must now. Cannot Stress that enough. But i believe that it will be mostly 2.2 with new Caucasus map. Otherwise we cannot expect the merge to happen within weeks. And, i‘m quit satisfied with what 2.2. it is a good start into the next year.

My Rig: AMD Ryzen 9 3950X | 64GB DDR4-3200 Ram | NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti | Thrustmaster Hotas Warthog | MFG Crosswind rudder pedals | HP Reverb

Like me and Raven said very curious on a bunch of units in 2.5, Its not bashing or complaining but you put 2.5 in a multi player basis and add 50 people blowing stuff up and shooting each other down id like to know what happens, Its ok flying about with one single unit hitting 60 frame, As ive said its really well done and i love it, But lets see the map full of units and things happening take the BK90 looks good but eats your frames once dropped, that in a 2.5 map would certainly be intersting on a frames and performance, However i could be completely wrong and i hope im wrong.

In short Coxy and I are not requesting additional features or additional units or modules.

It's just a peek into how the game play can potentially be on a particular configuration.

At the same time on the lines with terminator...wrap it up in whatever playable state it's

in now, deliver it, and we'll deal with the minor growing pains if there are any.

That is already the plan?

The campaigns are currently being updated which might mean that the overall terrain update/rework is already finished but that's only a guess!

Perhaps we could see a flight from one of these campaign missions if any of these are already finished or we simply wait.

EDIT: Also just to remember, once we are all closer to the merge more information will be shared.

Assuming you've been a good boy this year...

Good boys don't fly bombing and shooting people in other countries than where the official government has requested military support.... Or when only defending own country inside own country borders...

Don't ask for what the virtual military combat is counted... :music_whistling:

Make a comparison vid with vintage Flanker to make it even clearer :megalol:

There ain't so much difference really, once you remove all the shaders, complex meshmaps, high resolution textures and all nice physics calculations.... :D

Btw, what Su-27 was simulated in that as at 1:29 position you get the TV to display the targeting view?

If it comes out before, I'll make sure I'll quote this post then. :)

It's all about timeframes.

"We plan to release DCS World 2.5 in the coming weeks!"

"Sometime prior to less than two months from now. We still need some work on the seasonal textures and there are still a lot of missions and campaigns to update to account for map changes."

What it will be that the missions and campaigns comes later in january 2018?

We can fly right away tomorrow, setup some things in the editor and fly the amazing new caucusus! JAWDROPPING! :D

It seems ED wants to make sure that the new map is working with old content, including the DLC campaigns. It’s rather a quite obvious move not to release it earlier.

F/A-18, F-16, F-14, M-2000C, A-10C, AV-8B, AJS-37 Viggen, F-5E-3, F-86F, MiG-21bis, MiG-15bis, L-39 Albatros, C-101 Aviojet, P-51D, Spitfire LF Mk. IX, Bf 109 4-K, UH-1H, Mi-8, Ka-50, NTTR, Normandy, Persian Gulf... and not enough time to fully enjoy it all
