SC86
Some aircraft like the F-18 and F-14 in particular can have their pylons removed for a clean wing and centreline. It's not a big deal, but those pylons must weigh enough to have a few pounds drop and reduce gas usage when they are removed. Or maybe not, not, if anybody has info on that it would be great. Ramsay
Removal of the F/A-18C's pylons is cosmetic i.e. for aerobatics, the base FM remains the same. i9 9900K @4.9GHz, 64GB DDR4, RTX4070 12GB, 1+2TB NVMe, 6+4TB HD, 4+1TB SSD, Winwing Orion 2 F-15EX Throttle + F-16EX Stick, TPR Pedals, TIR5, Win 10 Pro x64, 1920X1080

draconus
As for F-14B here is the answer: "The weight is accounted for directly in the flight model, but won't show up properly in those dialogues since their implementation is "custom"." https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=240300&highlight=weight Win10 i7-10700KF 32GB RTX3060 Rift S T16000M TWCS TFRP FC3 F-14A/B F-15E CA SC NTTR PG Syria
