Kankkis
Hi, i’m thinking to buy those Nvidia Vision 3D glasses and Samsung 120hz monitor, few questions. Do you can use it with track IR with good result, I mean when you turn your head is there some losses in 3D effect? Can you use normal glasses under 3D glasses? How is FPS with 3D on versus normal playing? How is picture quality overall, colors etc etc? How is the monitor quality overall in normal use? Feel free to tell your experience Thx Kankkis
sweinhart3
Track IR works fine with it. Yes you can use prescription glasses with them. You will get a FPS hit but depending on your system its still very playable. A good video card should help with that. I didnt have any problem with colors but the video will be darker. Your eyes receive only half the brightness as normal. Couldnt tell you about the monitor. I used a 61" DLP HDTV and worked very well with it. Intel i7 990X, 6GB DDR3, Nvidia GTX 470 x2 SLI, Win 7 x64 http://picasaweb.google.com/sweinhart
BTTW-DratsaB
I have 2233rz. Its a good monitor compared to most other TN LCDs with the 120hz refresh, this gives way smoother feeling than a 60 or 75hz lcd in games and even in windows. LCD motion ghosting/blurring normally associated with TN LCDs is non existent. The monitor does suffer from backlight bleeding at the edges and bottom eg. the top of the screen is noticeably darker than the bottom. However, all TN LCDs suffer from the same prob and you get used to it. I had a particularly hard time with it because this was my first LCD screen, all CRT up to now. The 3d is excellent. There are some probs however, two main issues. The first being excessive "flashing" of the glasses, this was almost completely eliminated for me by shutting down SpeedFan before using 3D. The second problem is "Ghosting", some games have it quite bad while others not at all. Ghosting is where you can see part of the image that is supposed to be blacked out by the shutters, it appears as slight double vision. I still am happy with my 3D vision and 2233rz and would recommend.
