de.Impact
I remember that in the KA-50's cockpit view, you could see the pilots body (legs and hands) inside the Cockpit and that you could switch it off and on. (In order to see all the switches...) Will the A-10C also have this feature ? I think its a MUST HAVE because in real life the notes/checklists are located on his upper legs. Those emtpy cockpit seats are unrealistic... ;P Edited October 18, 2010 by [de].Impact
Bedouin
I tried search but didnt find any answers so here is my question; Is it possible to fly mission in winter time, and snow full landscape, or is the sim in fixed time of year...?? And is the A-10 an all-weather aircraft so you can fly missions in rain etc..? lastly, does the sim has dynamic weather so it can change during a mission..? Sry for all Q's, just a very curios soul.. :-)
ZaltysZ
Is it possible to fly mission in winter time, and snow full landscape, or is the sim in fixed time of year...?? winter, spring, summer, autumn. And is the A-10 an all-weather aircraft so you can fly missions in rain etc..? It has navigation instruments for flying in bad visibility conditions, however it has no radar and finding ground targets could be difficult if weather does not allow acquiring targets by using eyes or targeting pod. Well, you can always just bomb a target, which location is entered into navigation system, but this won't help if target is moving. lastly, does the sim has dynamic weather so it can change during a mission..? No. Wir sehen uns in Walhalla.

Krebs20
Any chance that weather can be used in the mission editor to cause triggers or be the effect of a trigger? Example. Cross wpt 4 and boom visibly drops to 0/0. Or destroy x targets and it gets sunny? I'm not looking for dynamic If this is already in this mission editor I'm sorry. Olgerd, are you expecting to have it finished at the time of the final release? I was really looking forward to this feature! Regards

McVittees
Am I missing something? Do you just clear the station and tell it that there's a bomb there again? In a mission earlier I had two hung stores, but in a test mission now I can't for the life of me get one to hang!:book: I thought you clear the station and then load the store back on. At least that's what I'm going to do when I get one!:pilotfly: [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] "Great minds think alike; idiots seldom differ.":pilotfly: i5 3750K@4.3Ghz, MSI Z77A GD55, 8GB DDR3, Palit GTX 670, 24" Benq@1920*1080, X52 Pro, Win 7 64bit. Speed
Ok, I did a search for it and didn't find it, I'm sure someone else has asked. Is the countermeasures/EW system still a work in progress? Almost all the switches that deal with the chaff/flare system and the RWR are labelled as "no function". I pray this is only temporary, in Falcon 4 all those buttons worked! The CMS/EW system itself is modelled a lot closer to reality that it was in any Falcon version, or any sim to date in fact. GGTharos
The most important improvement is that the jammer reacts to a threat rather than jamming all over the place all the time. So then are there alot of buttons around the cockpit that labelled "no function" but in fact ARE functional? Intelligent discourse can only begin with the honest admission of your own fallibility. Speed
What would you like them to do? Also, this is not falcon. It looks like the same RWR with the same buttons, and it looks like the same CMS that is used on the F-16A MLU. If those buttons work in falcon, they had better work here (sounds like they do)! On a completely unrelated question, why was I blacking out last night when flying above 20k feet? I had the oxygen on. When I descended below 16k feet my vision returned to normal. Poor mans sniper
This isn't related to DCS, but it has to do with the A-10. What caused the switch from Combat mix to tracers in FC2 and LOMAC?
