Captain Orso
I'm not sure exactly how this happened, but the modifiers.lua files for both the P-51D and Spitfire were deleted by something. The files: c:\Users\user_name\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Config\Input\P-51D\modifiers.lua & c:\Users\user_name\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Config\Input\SpitfireLFMkIX\modifiers.lua I wanted to look at something in my controller configurations and opened Options -> Controller -> P-51D-Sim -> Modifiers, but because I had not attached my joystick and throttle, only the default modifiers were to be seen. I believe I exited the settings menu through 'Cancel', and not 'OK'; I'm generally very careful about this, but since Cancel is on the left and OK on the right (the opposite of what is usual in Windows apps, I may be mistaken. After quitting DCS, attaching the controllers and restarting DCS, when I looked in Modifiers again, there were only the default settings again. So I looked in the above locations for the files and found both of the files to be missing. I had to recover them from my data backups. When you hit the wrong button on take-off System Specs.
